Controlling ANTiparasitic resistance in Equines Responsibly (CANTER) is a voluntary group working in the interests of the equine community to address wormer resistance and mitigate the substantial health, welfare and economic impacts of its development in horses.
CANTER draws in representation from across the equestrian sector and includes leading experts in the field across prescribers, diagnostic providers, pharmaceutical companies, trade organisations, technical experts, horse owners, charities, and policy makers. All recognise the critical consequences of antiparasitic resistance and the need for coordinated action to slow the development and maintain efficacy of our limited treatments.
Working together to promote a consistency in approach is the only way we will tackle this growing problem. We welcome your support to share and disseminate CANTER news and updates.
